  4. It always seems to come back to this: Is there a purpose in just letting someone know you exist, even if you have nothing to offer? Or do I have to always provide value to someone else? Does showing curiosity offer any value? Maybe my is a manifestation of curiosity.

  5. It's kind of an odd thing to be wondering about on this I suppose, but living away from relatives for most of my life, there is a sense of regret. Is it too late for me to make a connection? I have yet to meet one of my nephews, my cousins' kids, nor my 2nd cousins.

  7. Even if I don't complete it, maybe it will give me daily motivation. If I don't complete it, will I be angry at myself? I need to remember that this list shouldn't be a reason to feel bad about myself. To prevent that, I should take action towards it, but it will be challenging.

  11. Japan? 52 weeks? Really? I'd like to see a correlation between this chart and how many weeks of parental leave are ACTUALLY taken by men in each of the countries. There could be cultural factors that discourage taking leaves. "Parents Time Use in 1965 & 2011" seems reasonable tho

  12. This should be true in life in general. 1. Winning isn't everything. 2. And outstanding, fearless efforts that have an impact on the overall result should be rewarded. I wish this was the case with our day-to-day jobs as well.
